Great service, and amazing wine and food. No upsell to the bottle that was being drunk which was dissapointing.
We went here after wine tasting around that area. I liked my burger and service was good. They have sandwiches, pasta, soup, salad etc so a good selection of food basically.
I usually LOVE going to Purple, but this past weekend I was unimpressed. I have been to each location multiple times, including the Woodinville location. Service and food has always been good until Friday. The waitress my family had was terrible. We felt like she was ignoring us the entire time. She never refilled our water and never brought over a bottle. I grabbed abottle when I got up to go to the restroom because I was thirsty. Before that it took her ten minutes to even come take our drink order. Someone different brought us our food, cleared our table and asked if we wanted to dessert. Finally we saw her and then we asked for our check after we were offered dessert a second time.
I also ordered a wine flight and she didn't bring me the card that explains what each one is. I decided to order the veggie burger and the bun was terrible. It was flaky and fell apart.
I have no idea what is going on at this location, but I am not going back. I guess I will have to find a new favorite restaurant.
We came here for happy hour after wine tasting. The food and wine are always impressive, and our service was exceptional. Our waitress was attentive and sweet.
My family has been long time guests at purple cafe and we really enjoyed both the Kirkland and Bellevue locations in overall service, food, and time management. I was horrified to see that the service at the woodinville location was not even half to the other two locations. The food in itself was the same but the service did not match up. I went there with my boyfriend and many of the other guests run on the older side as there are plenty of wineries around. We are on the younger side and we're treated as if we were ten and idiots. Nobody took us seriously when we asked for boxes and we're overly bothered every five minutes about how our meal was going. Once we asked for a check we were somewhat pressured to stay for desert. Despite being younger I typically tip quite well but in this experience they got a very low amount of tip for their very low quality service.
