Well managed library.
The Woodinville Library is a special place for me, having been my home library since our family moved to the area during the library's inaugural year: 1993. As a kid in the mid-90s I learned to place holds on their books via the old dial-up command line interface, and now as a Microsoft vendor I come here to work remotely. Poetic, I think.

The design of the library is also quite functional, featuring a convenient turnaround loop outside the main entrance where patrons can pull up and return materials via electronic return chutes. I only wish these chutes were a bit more user-friendly and didn't take so much time to use; it can be awkward trying to wrestle with a temperamental barcode scanner when your car is idling in the loop behind you.
The employees are helpful and friendly - noticeably less scary than I remember from my childhood, at any rate. When I lost my original library card last year, I asked the librarian at the counter to specifically replicate my original library card number (which I have memorized) on the new card, which she did with no hassle.
The best part about the library is definitely its interior setting and atmosphere. The quiet ambiance and free Wi-Fi make this a great place to study or work remotely - highly preferable to a noisy, aromatic coffee shop. In the back is a beautiful windowed reading alcove with comfortable seating, natural lighting and a great little peek at Bear Creek's natural sylvan beauty.
